On a recent episode, she accidentally used “love” with the word “Eric” while she and Rex were in bed together. The actor originally portrayed Brady Black on the daytime series. Then, he left and the character was then portrayed by Eric Martsolf. Last year, it was reported that Kyle Lowder would be returning and later, it was revealed he would play Rex Brady. According to Daytime Confidential, the actor’s stint on the soap opera is coming to an end on August 9.

Even though Sarah married Rex, her heart belongs to Eric Brady. He loves her too, but resists the urge to say anything. Everyone recalls what happened last time he loved one of his brother’s girlfriends… that woman was Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). He learned a valuable lesson, but Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) insists that Rex and Sarah need to be honest about their romantic feelings.

One question fans have is why does Eric always have to fall for the women involved with his brothers? Let’s face it, Salem is a small town. With three core families and everyone seemingly related to another, finding an available woman isn’t easy.

It would be nice if these two could run into each other’s arm and find lasting happiness. However, that is not likely, at least not in the beginning. Their romance will likely run into obstacles. In fact, Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Eric will have a hard time dealing with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) as fake Nicole marrying Tony (Thaao Penghlis). It could have such an effect on him that it could create some issues in his budding romance with Sarah Horton.

However, soap operas are known for turning trials into victories. This is no exception for Eric and Sarah. They will get through this eventually, especially when the truth comes out about face behind Nicole’s mask.
