Wilson knew about Konefal’s DOOL exit long before anyone else. When the actress was first considering leaving, she confided in her co-star about it. Of course, he would miss working with Konefal, but was completely supportive of her decision. If things don’t work out the way the actress hopes, then she can always come home to Days, Wilson explained.

Days of Our Lives fans are frustrated with the mass cast exits and worried about the soap’s future. There is speculation that DOOL might be ending, but Wilson indicated that this isn’t the case at all. There does seem to be something big going on and lots of changes are happening, but the actor wants everyone to just be patient and not jump to conclusions. When it comes to fans being upset about Konefal’s exit, he seemed to hint that she could be back.

“Trust the process. This is Days of Our Lives, man. It’s been on over 50 years. We’ve seen covers on magazines about people leaving, and three to six months later, they’re already back on the canvas. So keep the faith. We have extremely talented writers and producers, and they’re going to make sure they take care of this story. They are going to fill the void the best they can.”

DOOL Spoilers – Will Ciara Brady Be Recast?

Wilson couldn’t give any clues on what would happen to Ciara Brady once Konefal leaves. However, it sounds like she won’t be killed off. When it comes to a recast, Wilson said that it’s possible, but he hopes that they wait a little bit before replacing Konefal with another actress. He also suggested that by not recasting, there would be an open spot for his co-star should she come back!

With how often he mentioned the actress possibly returning one day, it sounds like he is hoping that will happen! We can’t say we blame him as Konefal is talented and a real asset to the soap. It’s also hard to imagine anyone else with as much chemistry as the original “Cin.” So, while we wish her all the best and hope all her dreams come true, we also hope that one day she will come back home.
