Susan and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) are both trapped in the DiMera crypt. Satan impersonated Kristen DiMera (Eileen Davidson) and tried to seduce John. It must fail because now Satan wants him dead.

DOOL spoilers reveal that the devil wanted to kill John after being confronted about possessing Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). John tried to save Marlena and battle the devil, but he was unprepared. After being knocked out, the real Marlena used all of her strength to physically stop the devil from killing John. It worked, so John was kept alive but ended up shackled in the DiMera crypt.

The devil tries to get John to give into Kristen, but it doesn’t appear to work. John’s will is strong and he will likely not give into temptation, no matter how great it is.

DOOL Spoilers: Susan Banks’ Failed Escape

It is teased that Susan will try to escape the DiMera crypt. Susan manages to almost make it. Unfortunately, when she makes a run for it, she is caught. This will make the devil very unhappy and it could lead to Susan being punished.

DOOL Spoilers – Satan Orders Murder

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Susan’s escape might make the devil so mad that something terrible will happen. Satan could take it out on John instead of Susan, though. That means Susan is needed for some reason while “MarDevil” isn’t having any fun due to John’s strong will. During the week of November 22, Susan is ordered to kill John. If she doesn’t, then there will be tragic consequences for someone else that Susan cares for.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Saving the Day

We know that John isn’t being killed off, so he is saved somehow. The real Marlena was able to briefly break through the possession to stop the devil from killing John the first time. So, there is a good chance that Marlena can do that again. However, something like that must take every ounce of strength Marlena has. The devil has an iron grip on her, so any breakthrough will be brief and temporary. With that being said, it just might be enough to save John for a second time.

The possession story is supposed to wrap up around Christmas. So, there is still a lot of damage that the devil wants to inflict on Salem. So, how will Susan and John escape, or will they be rescued by someone? What is the devil going to do next and how will “Jarlena” get through this new obstacle? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out what happens next.
