Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – John Black’s Onto MarDevil!

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall from a recent DOOL recap, John is onto MarDevil and knows that satan once again has inhabited his wife! John was at Salem University Hospital after breaking into Dr. Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) office and listening to her session notes with Doug Williams (Bill Hayes). Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) showed up and relayed the terrible news that Mayor Abe Carver (James Reynolds) had been shot in the chest and may not make it.

Eli told John that he had previously been at Bayview Hospital where Doug had been committed, trying to get Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in to see him. Marlena, influenced by the devil within her, had forbidden visitors knowing that Doug would tell that the devil had left him and went into Marlena. Indeed, he had told Eli and John before, but they couldn’t figure out what he meant! Upon hearing the news about Abe, Marlena had driven Julie to Saint Luke’s Church!

DOOL Spoilers – John Black Goes To Saint Luke’s Church

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates show that John immediately went to Saint Luke’s Church, where he interrupted a disaster for Julie! MarDevil was getting ready to drown her in the holy water, which is contained in what would properly be called a baptismal font, but to non-church goers may appear much like a large birdbath! MarDevil was just about to push Julie into the water when John came in the church and stopped the process! Julie than left to get herself back to the hospital, worried about her old friend Abe, after offering prayers up for both him and Doug.

DOOL viewers will recall that John stood in the door of the church and prevented MarDevil from leaving, after confronting her and telling her he wasn’t sure that she was really his wife! Marlena, again influenced by satan within her played dumb. She didn’t know what he meant! John continues confronting her, telling her she hadn’t been herself since Doug started with the bad behavior.

According to Days of Our Lives updates and sopilers, John realizes that the devil was in Doug and caused the bizarre behaviors of trying to kill Julie, and knew the devil is now in Marlena! John spoke directly to satan within Marlena and said he’s ready for a fight and challenged satan to a battle for Marlena!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – John Black Exorcised Satan From Marlena Evans Years Ago

Longtime Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that John Black exorcised satan from Marlena years ago, in a dramatic way! Days of Our Lives spoilers show that John worried that the attention created by Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) movie would attract the attention of the devil, and he was right! Flashbacks in recent episodes show dramatic scenes of John wrestling a figure all in black with a mask and pushing the black clothed figure against a wall, only to unmask Marlena, to his obvious shock!

Other DOOL flashback scenes showed MarDevil’s destruction of the original Saint Luke’s Church, with her standing outside the church as it exploded in flames, laughing hysterically at what she’d just done! However, twenty five years ago it was John who got the last laugh as Father John, and he intends to have the last laugh again and put an end to the devil in Marlena for good!
