Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Stephanie’s Shooter Blunder, Mistaken Intruder Drama Ahead?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Stephanie Kiriakis’ (Abigail Klein) latest decision could be setting her up for trouble.

Things could go from bad to worse for Stephanie if she’s not careful, so let’s consider what’s ahead on DOOL.

In the April 7 episode, Stephanie admitted to Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) that she needed to be able to protect herself if she was going to feel safe. Alex was taken aback as Stephanie insisted she wanted to get a gun and learn how to lose it.

Of course, we get why Stephanie’s such an emotional mess after everything she went through in captivity. Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) forced Stephanie into a situation where she had no control, so she’s ready to take some of that control back now.

If Stephanie goes through with getting a gun and practicing with it, Days writers could be paving the way for another traumatic twist. Stephanie isn’t in the right headspace for a weapon and could pull the trigger prematurely depending on the circumstances.

What if Stephanie is home alone and mistakes Alex for an intruder? Stephanie’s mind might play tricks on her if Alex comes home unexpectedly, so that could lead to Stephanie firing at her own husband!

Another possibility might be if Stephanie perhaps “sees” Owen’s face while someone like Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) is there to check on her. Stephanie’s mind may play tricks on her and lead to her firing at Jeremy.

Since Michael Roark will be departing Days later this month, we could imagine a coma exit for Jeremy or at least a gunshot recovery off-screen. Stephanie would feel horrible, but it would definitely bring some juicy drama.

We should also offer a reminder about AlexAnn Hopkins’ upcoming return as Joy Wesley, who was pregnant with Alex’s baby the last time Days fans saw her.

Joy might put someone else on babysitting duty now that the infant has arrived and seek Alex out to tell him that he has a son or daughter. What if there’s some scenario where Joy barges in unexpectedly and Stephanie is too quick to pull the trigger?

Whatever the case, Stephanie might end up horrified and facing potential legal issues if this whole gun thing leads to a shooter crisis.

Stephanie already faced a baddie with the Owen storyline, so this story could be more about firing at someone who doesn’t deserve it and feeling guilty as a result.
