Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Susan Dies, Thomas Banks Plots Revenge?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease that when Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) dies, her brother Thomas Banks (Eileen Davidson) might plot revenge. Viewers who watched Beyond Salem Chapter Two will remember Thomas is a skilled sharpshooter and he’ll be plotting to pick some people off involved in his sister’s murder.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Thomas Banks, Assassin

Thomas hasn’t been seen a lot in recent years, but he did show up as an assassin in Beyond Salem, Chapter Two. He assassinated Phil Hellsworth (Vincent Van Patten) while impersonating Kristen DiMera (Eileen Davidson in Beyond Salem 2). There, many from Salem both past and present were trying to find the three prisms of Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) for DiMera Enterprises for an unknown purpose. Longtime viewers will remember Susan was a quadruplet, with Thomas, Sister Mary Moira (Eileen Davidson) and Penelope Kent (Eileen Davidson) the sister who died of a brain tumor.

One who was looking for the three prisms was Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) who had hired Thomas as an assassin. With the family down to just Thomas and Sister Mary Moira, he might want to avenge Susan; or, EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) might hire him to.

DOOL Spoilers – Was That Thomas Banks Holding A Gun On Tripp Johnson?

Since EJ already retaliated against Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) for kidnapping Susan by kidnapping her son Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) it makes sense he might have hired his assassin uncle. Tripp was shown tied in a chair with a gun to his head, and no one would be better for the job than Thomas.

That way everything is all in the family and EJ doesn’t have to go for outside help, whose loyalties may be questionable. Thomas was also a gangster, and Ava is a gangster, and gangsters know how to make hits on gangsters-if Susan dies, than Ava must die; it’s the gangsters’ code.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Gunman Spotted At Susan Banks’ Funeral?

A scene was shown in the DOOL winter preview which appeared to be a bomb going off in St. Luke’s Church during Susan’s funeral; the church catches on fire. Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) hear the blast from the Horton Town Square and walk towards it. Two bodies are seen in the rubble, but in the background through the smoke it also looks like someone points a long gun.

It could just be some rubble with a long board sticking out but it could be Thomas trying to pick off the bomber. He’d continue to go after Ava and whoever set the bomb to make them pay dearly, not only killing his sister but violating her funeral.
