Alex wasn’t aware that Tate had been released, and assumed he escaped. Once Tate told Alex that he was released, he congratulated the teenager on his victory.

Tate didn’t believe it and gave a snarky comment about Alex breaking up with Theresa. Of course, Alex told Tate that Theresa was the one who broke up with him, but then redirected the conversation.

Afterward, Alex ran into Theresa. Alex suggested that since Theresa moved out of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) penthouse, she could move back in with him.

Alex said they could be platonic roommates, just like they were in the beginning. While Theresa has some issues with Alex’s proposal, they will likely reunite soon. Especially with Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) pressuring Theresa.

Tate could realize that Brady misses Theresa. Even though Tate is aware of his parents’ volatile history, he might also see the love and care they have for each other. So, if Theresa gets back together with Alex, Tate just might intercept.
