Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: The Great Rachel Black Debate, Is She A Brat Or Just Misunderstood?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) might continue to cause chaos in her father’s love life. She’s managed to push Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) away from Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), and into the arms of Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), but what else could she have in store for her daddy dearest when another woman tries to win his heart over?

DOOL fans seem quite split on the Rachel Black character. Some think she’s a sweet kid that’s been manipulated by her mother Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk); others think she’s just a plain old spoiled brat!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers  – Rachel Black Has Crossed The Line When It Comes To Her Dad’s Love Life

On the one hand, Rachel does seem like a little girl who likely doesn’t hear the word “no” often and does whatever she pleases. It would be hard not to think that she’s a little spoiled. After all, she’s a Black and DiMera, with a sprinkle of Kiriakis. She’s an offspring from three of the richest families in Salem. There’s likely not much that Rachel wants and doesn’t get in life. She’s also the apple of her grandfather John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) eye. He and Marlena Evans (Diedre Hall) spend a ton of time with her and dote on the little girl constantly.

With that said, the fact that she continues to cross lines, left, right, and center, with very little repercussion really adds fuel to the fire for those DOOL fans that believe she’s a spoiled brat that Brady should reprimand. If he doesn’t do it now, he’ll be pulling his hair out once the teen years roll in.

Kids that are hurting tend to act out, and Rachel has had a lot of ups and downs in her little life. It can’t be easy having a criminal for a mom, and the instability that Kristen offers can provide insight as to why the little girl behaves the way she does. Not only that, but it’s also undeniable that her mom has manipulated her.

Rachel is a smart and charming kid, who doesn’t necessarily cause chaos everywhere she goes. She’s quite well-behaved with pretty much everyone … but Chloe. It’s perfectly natural and normal for her to want to see her parents together; she’s also not the only kid in the history of soaps (or real life) for that matter to act out against a mother/father’s new love interest.
