Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, January 19, tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will have a downright terrible day. For starters, Chad will find out his one-night stand with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has become a professional crisis in addition to a personal one. There’ll be some awful updates on Chad’s table that relate to his role at DiMera Enterprises.

Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) just might be poised to take his brother’s place since Chad will likely be fired as CEO. Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will show up at the DiMera mansion to blast Chad for sleeping with an employee – and he won’t think Chad’s defense helps him much. The fact that Chad let himself get tricked by Gwen won’t be enough of an excuse, so Chad will remain in big trouble.

Of course, Chad’s horrible day won’t stop there! Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will also make a tough decision about her future on Tuesday. Although Chad will remind Abigail that he loves her, Abigail won’t feel their problems are about love at all. The trust has been broken – and Abigail will fear it’s beyond repair this time.

DOOL spoilers say Abigail will decide she’s leaving Chad, so he’ll have to cope with that difficult blow. As for Jake, he’ll be tickled pink over Chad’s misfortune. It’ll give him the chance to climb the corporate ladder, so look for Jake to kick back in the CEO chair on Tuesday. Even if Jake only scores a trial run for now, it does seem like he’ll be in charge for at least a little while.

By the end of Tuesday’s episode, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will come strutting back to town. Days fans can expect Gabi to drop some bombs on Jake about their unfinished business. Gabi might secure a crucial role for herself at DiMera again. We all know Gabi does a pretty good job of charming Li, so he might let her be co-CEO or COO under Jake.

Naturally, there’s always Gabi Chic as another area for Gabi to regain control of. No matter how things shake out for Gabi on the business side, her real reason for being back in Salem will involve Jake’s heart. Gabi will plan on reconnecting with Jake and building a future with him, but she’ll soon find out Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) has become more serious competition.

Nevertheless, Gabi won’t view Kate as a true threat in the grand scheme of things. Days spoilers say Gabi will stop at nothing to make Jake her man! As for Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans), she’ll face Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) wrath on Tuesday. Maggie won’t think Bonnie is a suitable match for Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) due to her shady history and how she hurt Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans).

It won’t be long until Maggie warns Justin that it’d be a massive error to date Bonnie. Even so, Justin will insist on doing what he wants – and that means moving forward with his new romance. Bonnie should appreciate the fact that Justin’s willing to stand by her!

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will deal with some kidnapping drama down at the police station. Xander was just taken in for questioning, so he’ll wonder what he’s being accused of.

Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will suspect Xander might’ve had something to do with the stolen twins plot. After all, Xander was tied to Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt) through the baby switch. Eli will grill Xander hard and hope he can pry some info out of him, but it seems Xander’s completely innocent for once.
