Mason Whitfield Vs. Holly Jonas

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, September 1, hint that actor Brandon Butler will debut on the show as Mason Whitfield.

In an interesting twist, he’ll meet Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) on Tuesday’s show, and once he realizes who she is, he won’t be pleased.

It sounds like Mason and Holly will have an awkward first introduction, so what’s the reason behind him being upset at her if he doesn’t “know” her? Is this about her past with Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) or something else?

Haunted By Grief

Across town, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will meet up with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).

Maggie was out of town, looking after Melissa Horton (Lisa Trusel), for quite a while, so the two will have a lot to catch up on.

Unfortunately, things aren’t so great for Maggie right now, as Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) had to sell the Kiriakis mansion – Maggie’s home – to help pay for Titan’s loan.

The family will likely lose the company too, so Maggie may feel as if she’s losing Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) all over again.

With that said, Maggie put on a very brave face in front of both Xander and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) during the Monday, August 31 episode.

Speaking of grief-stricken, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will lean on Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) in the aftermath of Lexie Carver’s (Nikki Crawford) passing. In fact, Lani will assure Abe that he’ll always be a part of her family.

Janel’s Good News

Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives spoilers for September 1 reveal Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will get some good news.

Could this be about Chanel’s cancer? Their newborn, Olivia Alexandra DiMera, was given a clean bill of health right after her birth, so Chanel may learn something positive about her chemotherapy treatments.

Then there’s Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). The woman will open up to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). It must be hard for Paulina, now that Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) is gone, and Abe is alone again.

She may want to be there for Abe, but as he went back to Lexie when she returned from the dead, Paulina’s pride could stop her.

Still, Lexie did say that she felt a sense of peace knowing that Paulina would be there for Abe. Could Paulina and Abe reunite? It’ll be a long hard road!
