Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that after the divorce papers are signed, Sonny feels that it’s acceptable for him to move on. He has developed a connection with Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) nanny, Evan. The two have even kissed, but Sonny didn’t want to pursue a romantic relationship until he was truly available. Now that the “Wilson” divorce papers are signed, he can be free to date Evan.

It is suggested that Will ends up getting released and tries to go back to Sonny. However, by the time that happens, Sonny will have already moved on with Evan. This means there will be another love triangle, just like when Paul Norita (Christopher Sean) was around.

However, this case is a bit different because Evan is hiding a dark secret. When Rafe’s extensive background check comes back, there will be some serious explaining to do. However, will it lead to Will and Sonny reuniting or is it a bit more complicated?
