Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Will Rafe Get Custody Of David – Leaves Salem To Raise David & Allie’s Baby?

Days of Our Lives: Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) could wind up with more riches than he ever expected. As DOOL viewers know, Rafe was absolutely gutted when the judge in the custody case ruled in favor of Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse) and Zoey ended up taking David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends) away from him. It was a terrible blow, and Rafe is still trying to process the loss, although Rafe has stated on the show that he had a video call with David recently that went very well.

And now Rafe is in an interesting situation, as Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) is on the Salem scene and wanting him to adopt her baby. Rafe was floored the Allie suggested that Rafe adopt her baby – it seemed that while a part of him is amenable to the idea, there is another part of him that is really worried about how Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is going to react to the prospect of adopting Allie’s baby.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Rafe Hernandes Worries

And it seems that Rafe has a good reason to be worried about Sami. According to DOOL spoilers, Sami’s on her way back to Salem, and once she gets the full scoop on what’s going on with her daughter and the pregnancy, Sami will order Rafe to turn down Allie’s offer. But of course, at the end of the day, it’s Allie’s decision what she does with her baby, and who she decides to give her baby to.

Sami may not like it, but she’s going to have to live with Allie’s decision. And we think there’s a good chance that Rafe might come around and accept Allie’s offer. After all, Rafe really wants to be a father, and he might be thinking that this is his chance to have a child that ultimately won’t be taken from him, in the way that David was. And when it comes right down to it, Sami might just come around, realizing that she’ll still be able to have a relationship with her grandchild if Rafe adopts him or her.

Well, we know that Rafe is set to exit canvas this autumn, and it’s possible that he could adopt Allie’s baby and leave town to make a fresh start for himself and the baby. That would be a nice happy situation for Rafe, but what if there was a twist here? It’s always possible that Zoey could have second thoughts about raising David, or perhaps David will have adjustment problems without Rafe around.

What if Zoey ultimately decides that she’d like to have Rafe raise David, or at least play a central role as a co-parent in David’s life? That could ultimately take Rafe out of town to be closer to David, and if Rafe has adopted Allie’s baby, then he could come out of this whole thing with two kids to raise! Now that would be a fitting way for Rafe’s storyline to end! Rafe could raise Allie’s baby full-time and also be a doting co-parent to David along with Zoey.

We’ll see what happens here, but our scenario is certainly one way that Rafe could leave Salem, and it would certainly be a happy scenario at that.
