Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease that since Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) are each having relationship problems, they might team up. But they won’t team up for real and have a romance, they’ll try to make Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) jealous by making them think they are.

Gwen’s been sleeping around with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Brady’s mad at Chloe because she lashed out at Rachel Black (Finlay Rose Slater). Bratty Rachel crumpled up and threw away Chloe’s peace offering of stickers, citing she’d outgrown them and accused her of hating her-and Chloe lashed out and agreed!

Xander wanted Gwen back after he lost Sarah, and Gwen was disgusted with him after she tried hard to cover for him and felt she was just “convenient”.

But in Salem Town Square, Gwen was coming out of the Salem Inn and spotted Xander being a nice guy and comforting a distraught Chloe, and misinterpreted it. They noted Gwen’s reaction and come up with an idea to help each other out, and considering how much Brady hates Xander, it might just work.

DOOL Spoilers – Jealousy Can Be A Serious Motivator

Jealousy can be a serious motivator for partners in a relationship with trouble to make the other partner insecure, and that insecurity can cause people to want to make things right. It’s like saying to the other person, if you want me you better come and get me, and you better treat me right-you’ve got competition.

That look on Gwen’s face that Chloe spotted when she turned her head gave her an idea-and Xander agreed. Maybe they should reinforce that idea that Gwen obviously has anyway and do their darndest to make sure Brady has it too.

After all, just look how upset he was over Chloe being with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and the lengths he went to in order to get him deprogrammed!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Fake It To Make It

Xander and Chloe decide that their relationships can’t get any worse than they already are if their plot doesn’t work, so they continue to fake it to make it! The only thing worse that could happen is if Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) was to see something and write about it in his gossip column.

On the other hand, a little bad publicity maybe couldn’t hurt-and Gwen would be sure to see it, although Brady might not bother to read.

Sometimes it does take losing someone for good – or them thinking they have – to make them appreciate what they lost or might be losing. They decide to try it to see if it works until it doesn’t.
