Days of Our Lives Weekly Spoilers January 20 to January 24: Time Jump Shockers – Adrienne and Haley Death Details – Xander Swaps Babies

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of January 20-24 tease that some hot drama’s brewing. Ever since the time jump in November, DOOL fans have had several burning questions. The NBC soap intends to answer those questions and throw in a few surprising twists along the way.

All the major storylines will be covered as Days takes us back to that “horrible night” – which was the night Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) was killed. This week’s preview video shows Adrienne behind the wheel with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) in the passenger side. Sarah tells someone over the phone that she’s in labor, and there’s a good chance it’s Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).

Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives spoilers say flashbacks set Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) up for disaster. Kristen goes into labor as well, which puts her at the hospital for a difficult delivery. The baby’s umbilical cord gets wrapped around her neck, so Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) informs Kristen that she’ll have to hurry up and push.

They don’t want the baby to suffocate, so Kristen gives it everything she’s got and brings her child into the world. Brady and Kristen enjoy some blissful moments with their daughter before a shocker strikes. Before we get to that, we have to go back to Adrienne and Sarah’s vehicle. Will Horton (Chandler Massey) can be seen looking at his phone in the promo, so he’s distracted on the road.

There’s a terrible crash, which we know Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) causes. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander spots Maggie passed out drunk with liquor in her car. He realizes Maggie’s to blame and somehow sets Will up to think he’s to blame.

After delivering Sarah’s baby, Xander goes with the mother-daughter duo to the hospital. That’s where Sarah’s child suddenly dies – and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) gives Xander the greenlight to switch Sarah’s baby for Kristen’s. Xander agrees it’s for the best, but it sends Kristen into a downward spiral. She’s so out of control with grief that she attacks the messenger!

Haley Chen (Thia Megia) is near a staircase when Kristen realizes her daughter’s deceased – or so she thinks. Kristen causes Haley to tumble down the stairs to her death, where Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) finds her and later informs JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) that she’s gone. JJ can be seen sobbing over Haley’s body in Days of Our Lives’ heartbreaking weekly preview video.

The heartbreak continues as Adrienne’s loved ones realize she’s also passed away. Her injuries were just too severe, so she couldn’t be saved. Will ultimately takes responsibility for the accident, but the truth is set to come out soon! Maggie’s going to horrified when she discovers what she did – as well as what Victor and Xander did.
