‘DOOL’ Early Week Spoilers July 7-11: Sophia Unravels, Rachel’s Guilty Conscience, Johnny’s Battle

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of July 7 suggest that Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) secret could cause her life to unravel in unexpected ways.

Sophia Choi’s Baby Lie

After giving birth alone and giving the baby away, Sophia will have some explaining to do. For one thing, Tate Black (Leo Howard) might be suspicious. In a preview clip, Sophia tells Tate that the adoptive family wanted to take “her” home right away.

However, Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) refers to the newborn as a boy. So, it sounds like Sophia lies to everyone about the baby’s gender to throw them off.

Sophia likely gets this advice from Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). While the lawyer will try to help cover Sophia’s tracks, will Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) get suspicious?

Tate might believe the instant delivery and adoption story, but Amy seems smarter than that.

Johnny DiMera’s Battle

Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has been arrested for attempted murder. However, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) insists on defending Johnny. Interesting since EJ is also the shooting victim.

Johnny and EJ will need to get busy preparing the defense. However, I wonder if EJ will use some deceit and trickery to ensure his son’s freedom.

Ari Horton’s Danger

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) is pushing both Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Ari Horton (Marissa Reyes) away.

It’s to keep them safe, but even that doesn’t protect them. We know from a sizzling summer 2025 promo that Ari and Holly get kidnapped anyway.

Poor Doug just can’t seem to catch a break. If Doug doesn’t save Holly and Ari, then he will never get redemption.

There is also Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) anger toward Doug. Something has to happen that thaws Julie’s intense rage.

Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) might face more publishing complications. Perhaps her real name comes out as the real author of One Stormy Night?

Over with Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey), she gets closer to Brady. However, will Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) revert to her old ways with her dad’s new romance?

Speaking of Brady and Rachel, I predict there will be some news about Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) soon enough.
