Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, October 1, tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will keep up her nice act. Gwen recently suggested Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) should hire her as their new nanny, so there may be a follow-up discussion on that. It’ll take some convincing since Gwen doesn’t seem all that nurturing, but she’ll indeed begin taking care of the “Chabby” kids soon.

Abigail tried to keep her guard up with Gwen at first, but Gwen’s slowly chipping away at that and making Abby view her as a friend. Gwen will hope she can use that to her advantage as she moves into the next phase of her destruction plot. In the meantime, let’s talk about Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and a surprising encounter. Jake will have only a towel on when Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) appears.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Jake Lambert Has No Privacy

For a house as big as the DiMera mansion, Jake may feel like he has very little privacy! As for Kate, she’ll sit down for a meeting with Chad and offer an intriguing proposal. Kate’s in the prime position to spy on Jake and pass along the results of her investigation. It wouldn’t hurt to do some snooping to make sure Chad stays protected.

While Kate pitches her idea of keeping tabs on Jake, Abigail will spar with Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) twin elsewhere. If Jake trash-talks Gwen, Abigail might actually stick up for her. Abby doesn’t realize Gwen’s scheming against her, so she may advise Jake to watch his mouth when it comes to his ex.

DOOL Spoilers – Kristen DiMera And Brady Black Go To The Hospital

Other Days spoilers say Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will show up at the hospital. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will greet “Bristen” and offer the latest news on John Black (Drake Hogestyn). John’s doing OK physically, but this brain aneurysm crisis has taken an emotional toll.

Even so, Marlena may admit John’s managing fairly well under the circumstances. Once Marlena provides updates, it seems Brady will visit John without Kristen. That’s probably for the best since John’s so easily agitated right now.

Days spoilers say Kristen will use this as a chance to seek a favor from Marlena. Although Brady and Kristen are trying to stay optimistic, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) is going after Kristen with everything she’s got. Kristen understands she might go to prison forever, so she’ll want to be prepared in the event that happens.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Kristen DiMera Asks For A Favor

On Thursday’s DOOL episode, Kristen will ask Marlena for a favor. There’ll be some wish that Kristen wants Marlena to grant, so this might be about Rachel Black. If Kristen can’t be around to serve as a mother to Rachel, she may hope Marlena will step up a bit more and make sure Rachel turns out OK. Kristen may suggest that Marlena’s values are exactly the ones she wants Rachel to grow up with.

Marlena is Rachel’s grandma since she helped raise Brady and has been his only steady mother figure throughout his lifetime. Blood has never mattered to “Jarlena” when it comes to all the kids and grandkids they share. However, Kristen may want Marlena to be Rachel’s godmother as well.

Regardless of exactly what Kristen wants, Rachel is one thing that Marlena can absolutely agree with her on. Marlena and Kristen both want what’s best for Rachel, so they may vow to give her the best life possible – no matter what.

As for Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), he’ll fret over the possibility of Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) landing in hot water. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eli will warn Lani about the consequences she might face for helping Kristen. Melinda’s Kristen takedown mission could easily leave Lani on the sinking ship.

That’s especially true since Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will slip up during his next meeting with Melinda. Abe and Melinda will clear the air and even share a tender moment. Too bad Abe will mess things up for Lani by tipping Melinda off! Melina will pick up on Abe’s blunder immediately and will soon confront Eli, so this storyline’s about to heat up.
