Is Hope Coming Back To Days Of Our Lives?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Hope Williams Brady was a fan-favorite for decades. So, when actress Kristian Alfonso announced her exit, viewers were shocked and devastated. Hope wasn’t killed off, so fans are hoping that she returns to Salem one day. In fact, Hope needs to be around for Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) and the baby, so is she coming back?

Days Of Our Lives spoilers  – Kristen Alfonso’s Abrupt Exit

DOOL spoilers reveal that Alfonso made her debut as Hope on April 13, 1983. While Alfonso is best-known as Hope, she is not the only actress to play the character. Other actresses that previously played Hope include Kristina Osterhaut, Kimberley Webber, Natasha Ryan and Tammy Taylor.

In July 2020, Alfonso confirmed on social media that when production resumed (it was halted due to the pandemic), she would not be returning. That means she never filmed an exit story, leaving the writers to explain her absence through other characters.

DOOL Spoilers – Where Is Hope Williams Brady?

When new episodes resumed, Hope wrote a letter to Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves and Cady McClain) explaining her leaving Salem. Hope decided to search for Ciara. Eventually, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) saved Ciara, but then she had amnesia. Hope reunited with Ciara and Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) off-screen.

Now that Ciara has her memories back, she is married to Ben and they have a baby on the way. However, Hope is still not in Salem but is mentioned from time to time.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Ciara really needs her mom right now. It’s Ciara’s first pregnancy for one thing. Plus, the devil is after Ben and Ciara’s baby. Once everyone began learning about Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) possession, that should have compelled Hope to come back immediately. However, that hasn’t happened – at least, not yet.

Fans are hoping that by the time Ciara gives birth that Hope will come back to help the new mama.

DOOL Spoilers – Will Character Return?

Alfonso insisted that she would never be coming back to the NBC soap. Of course, things can always change so fans are still optimistic. If Alfonso doesn’t come back, then the part will need to be recast. Hope just can’t disappear from her daughter’s life, especially with a grandbaby on the way.

It’s possible that the soap is already thinking about who could play the new Hope Brady, but nothing has been confirmed yet. We remain positive that Hope will come back one day whether it’s Alfonso reprising the role or another actress taking over the part. Here’s hoping to “Hope” returning to Salem!
