Sad Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Leann Hunley And Thaao Penghlis End Their DOOL Run

Leann Hunley and Thaao Penghlis are two very popular soap actors but they are again ending another one of their sporadic visits to Salem on Days of Our Lives.

We love it when they are around, sometimes we get the romantic vibe, the drama, adventures and sometimes laughter. Unfortunately, we will have to do without them on the canvas for a while albeit not long.

Days of Our Lives News – Tony And Anna DiMera

Their latest Salem visit as Tony and Anna DiMera was very dramatic. Both characters were involved in the Stefano DiMera (played by Stephen Nichols) and the DiMera family drama. Anna teamed up with Abigail (Kate Mansi) to save the men they love and even went as far as to poke out Stefano’s eye. It is probably the reason why fans are finally getting back their beloved Steve “Patch” Johnson who was walking around with a chip believing he was Stefano.

According to the latest issue of the Soap Opera Digest, both Hunley as Anna and Penghlis as Tony prepare to say their Salem goodbyes again.

Hunley has been with the soap opera since 1983. She often visits for some brief story arcs and then leaves again. This time is no different, we’re sure she’ll be back in the near future, we just don’t know exactly when. She also played the role of Dana Waring Carrington on Dynasty.

DOOL Spoilers – Thaao Penghli Career

Penghlis, on the other hand, has been with the show since 1981 and like Hunley makes short visits for important story arcs mostly DiMera family related. He has also played the role of Andre DiMera who is believed to be dead. He also played the role of Victor Cassadine on General Hospital and Dr. Micah DeAngelis/Dr. Marcus Disgrazia on Santa Barbara. Penghlis is kept busy by his often-adventurous travels.
