Days of Our Lives and Salem never seem right without Sami Brady around to spice things up. But where is Roman and Marlena’s wayward daughter and why hasn’t she been home since 2022?

Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Sami Brady Was Kidnapped

After trying to make a go of her marriage to EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) following his miraculous return from the dead, Samantha Gene Brady (Alison Sweeney) ended up in Salem to visit her daughter Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and her son Will Horton (Chandler Massey).

While there, she slept with ex-husband and Allie and Will’s dad Lucas Horton (Bryan R. Dattilo).

Lucas decided he was in love with Sami again but Sami wanted to work things out with EJ. Just after EJ learned the truth about her and Lucas, Sami was kidnapped but everyone thought she had just left town.

Months later, Lucas got a call from Sami alerting him to the fact that she was being held hostage. He lept to her rescue and found her surprisingly fast. Lucas even managed to overtake her kidnapper and look like Sami’s hero.

A grateful Sami was done with EJ at this point, especially after finding him in bed with her sister, Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison). She ran to Lucas and decided he was the man for her.

DOOL Spoilers – Lucas Horton And Sami Brady Try To Wed

Lucas was thrilled that he finally had Sami back in his life and she was all his. However, the truth started to slowly come out.

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) somehow deduced that Lucas was the one who had Sami kidnapped just so he could play hero and come to her rescue.

Lucas figured this was a surefire way that Sami would choose him over EJ and didn’t seem to care that the woman he claimed to love was terrified for her life for months on end while being kept in a remote cabin.

Chad swooped in and revealed the truth at Lucas and Sami’s umpteenth wedding. A horrified Sami dumped Lucas on the spot and told him she never wanted to see him again.

Lucas was arrested and ended up in Statesville until Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) got him out and Sami fled town to spend more time in Europe.

We know Sami is out there and will return one day — and this time she may have her youngest daughter Sydney in tow.
