Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that many fans wonder who plays EJ DiMera on the NBC sudser. The role is Daniel Gregory Feuerriegel’s, an Australian actor. He debuted in the role in June 2021, and before that starred in Spartacus. He replaced actor James Scott.

EJ DiMera is the son of late legendary crime magnate Stefano DiMera (the late Joseph Mascolo). His mother is Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) and recently they have shared scenes, before EJ landed up in jail for a crime he didn’t commit. The character was rapidly aged in 2006 when Scott debuted in the part.

EJ has been involved with many Salem ladies, including Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Nicole Walker (Arrianne Zucker). The women have often vied for his attention and most recently they got into it before Sami was tricked into believing that EJ kidnapped her. In fact her ex Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) did the deed, but convinced her otherwise. The two are now off camera and it is only a matter of time before Sami wises up and comes running back to EJ who will probably be with Nicole, thus perpetuating the triangle.

At one point in EJ and Sami’s relationship he was presumed dead after being shot by a bodyguard under Clyde Weston’s (James Read) orders. That was heartbreaking for fans but in 2017 it was revealed that Elvis is alive!

In 2018 Susan and Sami had a happy reunion with him and EJ came home to Salem in June 2021.

Fast forward to the present day and EJ is in jail, in fact he is bunking with none other than Clyde, the man who ordered his execution. Things would be awkward if EJ remembered this fact, but he doesn’t-for now. In the meantime Clyde and his jail buddy Orpheus (George DelHoyo) are cooking up a scheme against EJ who really was a horrible employer to Clyde, but even then, Clyde went a shade too far with trying to off EJ, don’t you think?
