49th Annual Daytime Emmy Award – All About Kevin Frazier
Frazier is a journalist, producer and entrepreneur who has interviewed Hollywood’s biggest stars and traveled the world covering exclusive stories he is joined by Turner, who made television history in 2021 as the first Black woman to host Entertainment Tonight, is an award-winning journalist and regular contributor to CNN. Together, Frazier and Turner are the first Black duo to host an entertainment news show.
On June 24th, it will be the 16th time CBS has broadcast the Daytime Emmys and this is more than any other network has. Over the years, the Daytime Emmy Awards have recognized actors for their amazing and powerful work on daytime soap operas. Actors will be recognized as Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress, Outstanding Supporting Actor and Actress, Outstanding Younger Performer and also Outstanding Guest Performer.
The shows will be awarded for Outstanding Writing, Directing and even as Best Drama of the year. They have also recognized outstanding achievements in television programming and crafts since 1974. They also honor work in the categories of talk shows, instructional programming, hosting, and legal/courtroom programs.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) is a service organization dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television and the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, educational, and technical achievements within the television industry. It recognizes excellence in television with the coveted Emmy Awards for News & Documentary, Sports, Daytime, and Children’s & Family programming, as well as achievements in television Technology & Engineering.
