There’s no official information as to where When Hope Calls Christmas was filmed. However, it’s been made known that When Hope Calls uses the area surrounding Powassan, Ontario, for their production.

“We are sitting out in a beautiful field in North Bay, but they created — well, the whole town constructed it, and I believe it was in, like, 11 weeks,” Morgan Kohan said in a behind-the-scenes video during the show’s first season.

Viewers can catch When Hope Calls, a two-part Christmas special on Prime Video. When Hope Calls is a spinoff series of Brian Bird’s When Calls The Heart. Set in the early 1990s, the show focuses on Lillian (Morgan Kohan) and Grace (Jocelyn Hudon). The sisters start an orphanage in the town of Brookfield, which was previously a mining town.

“As the two are caught between the traditions of cattle ranchers and the ambitions of a growing town, they strive to find romance and happiness while overcoming the challenges of helping the children in their care,” as per its official synopsis.

Will there be a season 2 for When Hope Calls? Great American Family has picked up another season for the spinoff show. However, there’s been no word as to when the production will begin. Additionally, there’s no word about who will the cast members be on the upcoming season. But, fans will likely see Morgan Kohan, Ryan James Hatanaka, Wendy Crewson, and Jefferson Brown again.
