ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is a wanted man—wanted to come back to Port Charles to tie up loose ends, fill a gap in the lawyer department and satisfy fans’ demands for him to bring his handsome snark back!

General Hospital Spoilers – Here are 5 reasons why they should bring Ric Lansing back to GH.

#1 Ric Lansing needs to come back to General Hospital to sort out the whole Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) mystery. Hayden popped up in Port Charles pretending to be married to Ric but it was a con that was meant to get Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) back to his side.

It didn’t work but it did introduce scammer extraordinaire Hayden. Several people in town would love to figure out where Hayden is right now. She is MIA and actually left behind the daughter she had with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Perhaps Rick knows where she is?

#2 Ric Lansing needs to come back to General Hospital to pick up where he left off in his relationship with half-brother Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Back in the day their mom abandoned Sonny and kept Ric with her, and Sonny has never gotten over this really (would you?!).

#3 Ric Lansing needs to come back to General Hospital to free Elizabeth from Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Many think that Friz is a big mismatch and having Ric come back to woo her would be a test of their commitment.

#4 Ric Lansing needs to come back to General Hospital to counsel his wayward daughter Molly Lansing-Davis. Right now Molly is on a roller coaster ride with her emotions and bound to mess up again. She needs a man in her life and we don’t mean romantically.

Maybe dear old dad could help her in ways that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) could not, seeing as her life is an even hotter mess than usual. Molly slept with the first stranger she met after thinking her boyfriend ghosted her, so maybe she could turn to Ric to help sort out her love life?

#5 Ric Lansing needs to come back to General Hospital so that he can fill the lawyerly void left by his ex and baby momma Alexis. Alexis has been disbarred and someone needs to have witty banter with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy)! Could you see these to going toe to toe in the courtroom? I can!
