Adrian Anchondo Joins ‘General Hospital’ In New Mysterious Role

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint fans need to brace themselves for a ‘mysterious’ debut. During the Thursday, March 13 episode, viewers can expect to see actor Adrian Anchondo enter the canvas playing the role of Marco.

Who Will Marco Be Linked To?

According to TV Insider, Marco is a lawyer, and he’ll be linked to Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis). The character will also have some “dark secrets” (don’t they all?)

General Hospital spoilers have suggested that Lucas will soon meet a mysterious character, and it looks like that very person will be Marco. Anchondo did his screen test with Van Hansis and scored the part, but this isn’t the first time the two actors have cross paths.

As Anchondo told TV Insider, he and Van met about two decades ago at the Williamstown Theater Festival and did a play together. The actor goes on to say that he had a ‘little crush on him’ back then.

With that said, the two have mutual friends, and socialize in similar circles. As such, Anchondo felt really comfortable on set.

Adrian Anchondo’s Acting Resume

While Anchondo is new to daytime, he’s had multiple appearances in primetime, which includes NCIS: Los Angeles, Law & Order: Organized Crime, FBI: Most Wanted, and The Rookie – just to name a few.

He’s also very familiar with the daytime drama genre, as his mom, who has passed away, was a fan of General Hospital, as well as The Young and the Restless.

Anchondo stated he would watch the soaps with his mother as she was getting ready for work. His grandmother is also a daytime drama fan, who’s very pumped to see him debut in the land of Port Charles.

He told TV Insider, “She’s so excited and proud.”

Still, this isn’t the only thing she’s proud of, as the actor is slated to graduate with his master’s in psychology, this May.
