Soap Opera Ratings – Who Came In First Place?

In the key Women 18-49 demographic, Y&R earned a .42, B&B earned a .39, GH earned a .37 and DOOL earned a .34. So, what plots were connected to these February Sweeps Ratings?

On Days of our Lives a blast from the past arrived when Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) informed a gobsmacked Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) that Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) is alive.

Elsewhere virile Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) was revealed as Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) father.

Soap Opera Ratings – Who Came In Second?

Over on The Young and the Restless Gloria Fisher (Judith Chapman) was seen in all her glorious glory doing what she does best, connive.

Elsewhere Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Devon Winters (Bryton James) did the dirty and agreed not to tell anyone.

On The Bold and the Beautiful lusty Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) again had to deal with the fact that she had no idea who her baby daddy is: Dr. Finn (Tanner Novlan) or Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton)?

Meanwhile Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) discovered his fiancé Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) has the hots for Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz). Oopsie.

Soap Opera Ratings – Who Came In Third?

On General Hospital tons of action came down the turnpike. In a classic Friday cliffhanger Nina Reeves (Cythnia Watros) made contact with presumed dead Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She will likely use this ammo to get back at Carly Cortinthos for keeping the truth from her about her dastardly daughter Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).

Later Nina, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) mourned at Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) grave where the women swore allegiance to each other in a scene that should send shivers down Carly’s spine!
