The Bold and the Beautiful’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood made sure the 2022 Daytime Emmy nominees for Best Actress got together over the weekend for an annual event they never miss — save for COVID lockdown time. The Best Actress winner from the year before treats all the leading lady nominees for an afternoon out, which meant this year wood was doing the honors.
The Bold And Beautiful News – Star Brings Daytime Emmy Ladies Together Thanks
General Hospital star Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) took to Instagram to post a picture of almost all the nominees, including herself, Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker, Days of Our Lives), Marci Miller (ex-Abigail Deveraux, DAYS), Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves, GH). Missing from the pic and apparently, the luncheon was Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair, The Young and the Restless).
Wood, who was not nominated this year but won her second Emmy last year, was also in the snap looking absolutely amazing in a belly-baring shirt that showed off her impossibly svelte abs for a woman who just had her third child in three years mere weeks ago. What is this woman’s secret for looking so amazing? Perhaps we will never know…
Speaking of babies, Miller was photographed with her own little girl, Willet, who was born last March. Miller’s Abigail was officially declared dead on June 13 after being stabbed in her bed. It’s a heartbreaking story that leaves Chad DiMera a widow with two young children. Whether there is a way the show will find to resurrect Abby remains to be seen.
Daytime Emmy – Award Show On June 24
The Daytime Emmys are set to air on CBS on June 24, which will be another return to primetime broadcast television after several years of soap fans only being able to catch the show streamed. In 2020, CBS hosted the awards virtually during the first months of the pandemic as stars’ accepted their awards from home.

Watros’ Nina learned Nelle Benson was her daughter then fell for Sonny Corinthos in Nixon Falls, while Wright’s Carly dealt with the idea of Sonny being dead and then learning he was alive. DAYS stars Zucker and Miller also had dramatic years as Nicole said goodbye to a marriage after 12 months and Abby dealt with a long-lost sister. Stay tuned to the Daytime Emmys later this month to see who takes home the gold.
