General Hospital star Cameron Mathison is nothing like his character Drew Cain in real life.  The Hallmark icon has always been open with his fans about his personal life, including his recent divorce. 

The GH actor recently revealed that he has been dating again, and you weren’t mistaken if you thought u saw him on Tinder.  Imagine meeting a man on a dating app for drinks, and you arrive and it is Cameron Mathison!

Cameron Mathison & Wife Vanessa Divorce

General Hospital fan fave Cameron Mathison recently dipped his toe back in the dating pool.  The popular actor and his wife Vanessa divorced three years ago. 

Their split was amicable and since going their separate ways they have remained cordial to co-parent the children they share.  Mathison admitted in a recent interview with US Weekly that he had a tough time finding love on the internet.  

The Drew Cain portrayer told the tabloid, “In these almost three years of being single, I have been dating.  The whole app world is new to me. It’s a new world.  I met a lot of amazing people… but at the same time, I hadn’t been ready for anything more serious.”

Mathison has since given up on finding love on the internet, at least for now.  The General Hospital cast member went on to explain to US Weekly that he realized he wasn’t ready for a new relationship and was moving too fast, now he’s focusing on himself and “healing” from his divorce. 

So if you thought you saw the Hallmark hunk on a dating app, it wasn’t a catfish it was Drew Cain himself!
