General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Daytime Emmy Award winner Steve Burton is now starring as Harris Michaels on Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem (Chapter 2), a role that marked his daytime debut back in 1988. The limited series was created from NBC’s daytime drama Days of our Lives.
Last year Burton left his iconic role as Jason Morgan on the ABC sudser General Hospital after declining to get the network’s mandated employee Covid-19 vaccination.
His personal life also made recent news after his wife of 23 years, Sheree Burton, announced she was pregnant. After social media flooded the actor’s accounts with congratulations, he clarified the situation by saying via Instagram Stories in May: “I wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated. She recently announced that she’s expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine. We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids. We would appreciate privacy at this time. Much luv, Steve.”
His post followed Sheree’s Instagram Story in which she shared a photo of her baby bump and the caption: “Life sure is full of surprises!”
Steve has filed for divorce in Orange County, California and US magazine states that the paperwork lists “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup, with the date of March 1 given as the couple’s initial separation date.
Sheree and Steve married in 1999 and they have three children together: daughter Makena, son Jack and daughter Brooklyn.

In January 2020 Sheree told Women Fitness magazine that she and Steve met on set. According to her, “My career path took many turns after this first job that included riding show horses for many years and working as an intern on the set of ABC’s General Hospital.”
Sheree added, “It was on the set of General Hospital where I met … actor Steve Burton [Jason Morgan], who was also passionate about maintaining a fit [and] active lifestyle.”

Sheree now works as a fitness and nutrition coach, and she founded Burton Nutrition Company.

What can fans find on Sheree’s social media? Before Sheree stopped posting to her Insta grid, she shared photos from her personal workouts and posted inspirational quotes for her fans.
In April she wrote this uplifting message via Instagram: “Our attitudes can literally change everything. We can’t change what happens to us or how others treat us, but we are in complete control of our attitudes and how we react to the situations we’re put in. Don’t give negativity any power.”

You people need to put steve burton back on GH. He is your main staple, without him not very interesting. Screw that stupid mandate. It doesn’t stop the virus.
