General Hospital Alum Ted King Might Have A Brand New Soap Role

General Hospital spoilers tease that Lorenzo Alcazar (Ted King) may be dead, but his portrayer might be about to take on a brand new soap role.

It’s been several years since King appeared on General Hospital, but longtime fans will know that he most recently played Jack on The Bold & The Beautiful. And now it seems as if he may be about to make another daytime comeback in a very big way!

A recent exchange between King and Michele Van Jean, former writer of both the Bold & the Beautiful and General Hospital may be a huge clue!

General Hospital Spoilers – Michele Val Jean Is Creating A Brand New Soap!

Back in March, it was announced that Val Jean is both the executive producer and head writer of a brand new soap coming in January, 2025 called the Gates!

That mean preparation is underway now including the storylines and casting. The conversation between King and Val Jean indicated that they both had a very good day.

If there is a connection between their days, it might indicate that King has been cast on The Gates, although an official announcement could be weeks away if it is true.

The Gates will focus on a wealthy Black family who live in an upscale gates community. It will be the first new soap in many years on daytime tv so anticipation is high! It also marks a return to the soap opera business for Proctor and Gamble.

General Hospital fans will recall that King played Lorenzo Alcazar for many years on the show. He was a rival of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and had passionate romances with both Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Skye Quartermaine (Robin Christopher).

Even though Alcazar was killed off, viewers still ask for his return. If he joins the Gates, he’ll add some much needed star power to what promises to be an amazing cast.
