General Hospital Casting Bombshell: Troy Lennon Appel Lands Mysterious New Contract Role

General Hospital spoilers confirm that a new face is entering the land of Port Charles as Troy Lennon Appel steps into a new role on the show. CTS has all the fun details below.

Tory Lennon Appel’s Contract Role

According to reports, Appel will be playing “Hudson” in this new contract role for General Hospital.

The character is a businessman with sketchy ties, and fans can expect to see him enter storylines on Tuesday, July 30.

While this will mark Appel’s debut on soaps, the actor has worked on many movies in the past.

Some films include Legally Blonde, Lies and Murder, Revenge Best Served Chilled, and Blackmail – just to name a few.

Appel is currently filming on the ABC show and seems to be loving his daytime drama experience.

The actor had this to say to TV Insider about working on GH so far:

“Everyone is very professional; They’re on top of every intricate part of this very established, well-oiled machine, and I’m just trying to keep up and not halt the process in any way.”

General Hospital’s Casting Bonanza!

Appel is just one of a flurry of new castmates on the cusp of entering the General Hospital canvas.

It was recently announced that Dean Geyer is about to debut a new character, as well, by the name of Tristan Roberts, whose first airdate is slated for Monday, July 13.

The role obviously pays homage to the late and great Tristan Rogers, who played Robert Scorpio for decades on GH.

In addition, Kayden Brennan Tokarski has been recast as Scout Cain, replacing Cosette Abinante, and the teenager will enter storylines in July.

In addition, Kelly Kruger, who played Mackenzie Brown on The Young and the Restless, has also been recast as Serena Baldwin.

The previous actress to play Serena was Carly Schroeder from 1997 to 2001, as well as 2017.
