Kirsten Storms recently shared with fans that she had a scary but successful medical procedure. She detailed on her Instagram Stories that she had to undergo brain surgery, and luckily she was able to return home to recuperate following the operation.

It took place during a two-week GH production break. There’s been no official word about how real life might affect reel life. Will the character need a temp recast as Storms recovers? Or perhaps the character will be written off for a few weeks? It would be an ideal time to do that as Maxie has nothing to do while she sits in her apartment waits to be reunited with her daughter.

Then again, maybe the story comes to a merciful end and baby and mom are reunited quickly? It would make sense that Maxie would then want to get out of town to bond with her baby.

Jeff Kober thrilled fans as uber villain Cyrus Renault but that ship has sailed. For now. After his litany of crimes became too big to ignore, Cyrus was hauled back to prison on June 16. Kober debuted in February 2020 and hit the town with twisted glee.

He was a different kind of mobster, one with the skill to take over GH and one with an Achille’s heel for his sick mama. Will he be back? Maybe. He is Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) brother after all!
