General Hospital Spoilers: The Biggest Victim In Maxie’s Baby Switch
General Hospital spoilers reveal Valentin continuing to get attached to a little girl that’s not his, but is there more of a connection between Valentin and Bailey Lois Louise than we know.
General Hospital Spoilers – Poor, Poor Valentin Cassadine
Yes, it’s easy to feel bad for Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and her baby mess. After all, she is a new mother who can’t be with her child and it’s killing her inside. But then we have to think that Maxie chose to give her baby to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and even chose to be with Peter (Wes Ramsey) when there were so many red flags we’re surprised Maxie could even see Peter through them.
Everyone warned her about Peter, but Maxie refused to listen to anyone but Anna (Finola Hughes), who thought she was his mother at the time. Plus, we’re sure there were other ways to keep her baby away from Peter aside from faking her death or kidnapping. This is a soap after all and people are good at disappearing without a trace. It’s not like her father is the head of the WSB or anything — and her other father isn’t the deputy police chief.
And then there’s Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), who really and truly believes this baby is his and he has another chance at fatherhood. We all know how much Valentin loves being the father of little girls and he is actually somewhat good at it, by soap standards. That’s why watching him get attached to that baby makes us want to squirm and scream.
GH Spoilers – A Valentin-Bailey Lois Louise Connection
We all know Valentin isn’t that baby’s father and Brook Lynn certainly is not her mother, but could Valentin be her grandfather? There’s always that possibility that Peter was never Faison’s (Anders Hove) child at all but instead Valentin’s as he unwittingly slept with Alex believing it was Anna. There is no guarantee that when Alex slept with Faison that she got pregnant then.
That would be a twist that would destroy Valentin more than anything else. Becoming a father changed him but to learn he was a father long before Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and he gave his own son to that monster Faison would be the ultimate knife through his heart. James Patrick Stuart makes it hard for us not to just love that alleged most evil Cassadine of them all who turned out not to be a Cassadine. While we hate to see him get hurt, this twist would make the story worth it. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this plot plays out.
