Viewers will see a new face on “General Hospital” this week. Jeff Kober, who’s best known for his role as Dodger on “China Beach,” will join the cast of the sudser as Cyrus Renault.

He is expected to make his debut this week as Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) mob challenger.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jeff Kober’s Career

Fans may recognize Kober from various films and TV shows. He made guest appearances on TV series like “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “ER,” “24,” “The Closer,” “New Girl,” “Criminal Minds,” “Star Trek: Voyager,” and “Star Trek: Enterprise.” He joined the cast of “Highway to Heaven,” “Sons of Anarchy,” and AMC’s “Walking Dead” for brief stints.

His movie credits include “Out of Bounds,” “Lucky Stiff,” “Tank Girl,” “Inferno,” “A Man Apart,” “The Hills Have Eyes 2,” “Leave no Trace,” “What Still Remains,” and “Char Man.”

Apart from his acting skills, Kober is also a musician. He is a bass guitarist and a former member of a group called “The Walking Wounded.” The actor is also an artist who is responsible for the artwork that was linked to his character Daedalus on “Kindred: The Embraced. He also wrote, “Art That Pays: The Emerging Artist’s Guide to Making a Living” along with his third wife Adele Slaughter.

Viewers are in for a shock on “General Hospital.” Spoilers for Friday, January 31 episode reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will confront Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) while Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) reveals to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) the truth about who drove Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) out of town.

Nina will lash out at Valentin and adamant that things are over between them. Valentin is left heartbroken when Nina reveals that she helped in taking him down.

Meanwhile, Jax will get a chance to talk to Elizabeth and he tries to convince her that Valentin had nothing to do with what happened to Hayden. He’ll explain that it was actually Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) who forced Hayden into hiding. She’ll be furious and she’ll end up slapping Nik for what he’s done.

Elsewhere, Nik will have to face Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) anger first. He’ll point out how he caused Violet Barnes’ (Jophielle Love) pain as she lost her mother because of him. He will give Nik an ultimatum, which may involve asking him to reunite Violet and Hayden.
