General Hospital (GH) Rumors: Valentin & Anna Romance Finally Happening?

General Hospital: Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)General Hospital (GH) rumors and spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may move on romantically with each other in upcoming episodes of General Hospital, once both have moved on from their respective exes.

General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine And Anna Devane Were In Spy School Together

General Hospital viewers will recall that Valentin and Anna were in spy school together many years ago, even before she and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) got together. Valentin was one of the brightest and best students, attending under the name of Ivan Theodore, but severely afflicted with scoliosis, which he later had corrected at the Boronsky Clinic in Russia. Valentin was in love with Anna but didn’t know that she had an identical twin named Alexandra Devane (Finola Hughes), who at that time would have been impersonating Anna, with neither twin aware of the other’s existence.

GH spoilers reveal Alex had been brainwashed and believed Anna was a lookalike that she was later sent to hunt down and kill. Valentin would walk down the hallways of the WSB spy school just to get a glimpse of Anna, whistling a song as he walked, and Anna always cared about the kind hunchback who later became a DVX mercenary, as Alex also was. Anna did spend some time being a double agent, however, as longtime General Hospital viewers will remember.

It was only years later that Anna and Alex found out they had been in a memory transfer experiment, the first of three sets of identical twins involved in the experiments, performed by Dr. Arthur Cabot (Time Winters), and Anna realized she had some of her sister’s memories. Once she realized the memory of seducing Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was Alex’s, it cleared up a lot of things for both Valentin and Anna, since Valentin had thought it was Anna he followed to the midwife’s when Heinrik Faison aka Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was born!

Gh Spoilers – Anna Devane And Valentin Cassadine Retain A Bond Even After All Those Years

General Hospital spoilers show that Anna and Valentin have a deep bond, even after all those years. Valentin would do anything for Anna, and she would do anything for him. The way they look at each other and the way she smiles at him proves there may be more than meets the eye, and that “Valentina”, or a romance between the two, is a real possibility!

The two of them go back many years on General Hospital and have always cared about each other, even though for Anna, it was more of a close friendship kind of caring, while Valentin had been smitten with her! They have been in each other’s circles for so many years that if they do admit their deep love for each other, and act on it in a romantic way, they are likely to be together for the rest of their lives.

There would be no problems with spy secrets being kept from each other as Anna had with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). They both know that secrets come with the territory of being spies, although Valentin has not actively been in the spy business for many years. He still has lots of contacts though, some of which he is likely using to find an antidote for Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) which is Anna and Valentin’s main focus of spy-like work lately.

Valentin rues the day that he took baby Peter from a good adoptive home and handed him over to his father, and now that he realizes Alex was his mother and not Anna, he’s not so protective of him! Undoubtedly his love for Anna motivated him all those years to look out for Peter, and now they are working together to bring him to justice. But after all that is taken care of, and they no longer have to worry about Chase or Peter, no one will be surprised if “Valentina” becomes a reality!
