General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ryan Paevey recently sat down to discuss his former G.H. character Nathan West. Could Nathan be making an appearance in the future?

General Hospital Spoilers – Ryan Paevey Discusses Nathan West

General Hospital’s Nathan was the love of Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) life. Unfortunately, Nathan’s death was another tragic event in Maxie’s life. Maxie has been unlucky in love for years. Maxie has especially had problems when it comes to loving a police officer. However, with everything going on in her life right now, a visit from Nathan would go a long way in setting her at ease. Sources report that Paevey has recently set down to discuss Nathan and his possible return to General Hospital. Of course, unless he comes in as a new character it is going to be very difficult to bring Paevey back as anything other than a ghost. After all, Nathan’s funeral was very public so unless Liesl Obrecht miraculously stole his body and brought him back to life, Nathan is gone.

General Hospital’s Paevey spoke to soaps.com about the possibility of returning to the soap to shed some light on rumors of that. What does Ryan have to say about revisiting his former character? Paevey says that the possibility of his return is “above his pay grade.” Paevey says he has no ownership of the character, Nathan, and his return would be up to the powers in charge at G.H.

However, Paevey is also employed by Hallmark and has an obligation to them for movies as well. Paevey’s comments do offer some hope to Nathan fans as well. Paevey did say, “If the timetables were right and the show wanted Nathan back right now, I want the fans to have what they want. I want to have what I want, too.”

General Hospital Spoilers – Could Nathan West Be Recast?

General Hospital alum Paevey has admitted that he would be willing to return, at least for a visit. Could Nathan come home and make everything right in Maxie’s world? After all, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was gone for five years. Drew Cain (Cameron Matthison) was gone for three. Other characters have been presumed dead for decades. Nathan could turn up alive but it would cause issues with Maxie and her mother-in-law for sure if she was behind his faked death.

With Paevey willing to return Maxie could have the love of her life back and Nathan could help put her life back together. Nathan could finally meet his son and Maxie’s daughter as well. Could Maxie finally be a family with the man she adored? Would G.H. producers be open to recasting the character? Is Nathan exactly what the doctor ordered?
