GH Star’s Messy Divorce
Steven Burton and his ex Sheree Gustin filed for divorce in 2022, their older children were left out of the court battle, but the General Hospital star is still fighting over custody of his 12 year old daughter Brooklyn.

Originally the couple agreed on a custody arrangement, but now that Steve is remarried things are going south.
In June 2026, Steve Burton filed papers in court against Sheree and accused her of keeping their daughter from him and undermining his role as a father.
Burton also alleged that his ex violated court orders and refused to hand Brooklyn over to Steve’s new wife when it was time for a custody swap.
This month, Sheree filed her own paperwork in family court. Gustin alleged that Steve wouldn’t stop moving across the country and abandoning his daughter.
In her documents, Brooklyn’s mom also claims that Steve doesn’t even have a stable home on the West Coast for his daughter to visit when he is there.
