General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that if you’ve been missing Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), you’re in luck! Kathleen Gati’s about to kick off her comeback stint, so GH fans can get ready for more Obrecht-related excitement.

SOD confirms that Gati will return as Liesl on Friday, April 24, so that’s when Obrecht will officially get back in the action.

Liesl left town at the start of March for a medical conference in New Zealand, but there are some big developments happening in Port Charles that she needs to be involved in.

Obrecht doesn’t know it yet, but things aren’t as they seem when it comes to “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey). Although Obrecht was thrilled over “Nathan” coming back from the grave, the truth is much more twisted.

Cassius is impersonating his twin brother, so Liesl will have to face that curveball sooner or later. It’ll shatter Obrecht’s heart when she realizes “Nathan” is still deceased and hasn’t come back to reunite with his family.

Of course, Liesl will also have to process the fact that Cassius is alive if she thought he was dead, too. There’s a good chance Obrecht believed Cassius never survived the birth when she brought him into the world along with Nathan.

As for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’s hiding “Nathan’s” true identity as well as the disturbing work she’s doing for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). You can bet Liesl will become privy to all that at some point.

It’s even possible Obrecht will get caught up in Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) storyline if she finds out his shooter status and becomes part of the cover-up crew.

Liesl loves Rocco as if he were her own grandson, so she’ll be just as worried as Britt if she finds out what really went down.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is also dealing with some Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) chaos, so we’ll see if Obrecht might get the scoop on what she’s missed eventually.

In the meantime, Obrecht will get thrown into a mess that involves Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who was driven to her breaking point over Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and locked up in a mental health clinic in France.

When Gati first makes her comeback, Liesl will learn some unsettling news from Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). Felicia will spill some troubling Anna info before making a pitch to Obrecht, so it sounds like Liesl could be tasked with helping Anna.
