General Hospital: Kathleen Gati Gets Saucy With Her Fans

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kathleen Gati (Liesl Obrecht) is a woman of many talents and on her days away from the studio she is busy, busy, busy!

In case you hadn’t heard, the lovely and talented thespian hosts fun and exciting fan events on her Insta. One look at her account and you will see that she loves her fans, and interacts with them on a regular basis. In November and December she held gourmand events called “In the Kitchen With Kathleen Gati.”

During the events she shares recipes and no doubt the host and her guests have a great time. The caption for her most recent event read: “Come join me for a holiday party on Zoom December 19! We bake, we sing, we talk, we laugh, we celebrate!!”

We’ve heard on good authority that her Spaghetti Sauce is to die for!

GH spoilers – Kathleen Gati Plays Liesl Obrecht

Speaking of something being to die for, Gati’s character Liesl Obrecht is smack dab in the middle of the hottest GH storyline of the year, and by the time it culminates someone may die at the hands of furious and betrayed Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Push came to shove this week when the truth about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

These two were an item when Sonny got amnesia, disappeared and was declared dead. Nina found him in a little pocket of Pennsylvania called Nixon Falls and decided to keep him a secret rather than hand him back to Carly who had been mean and nasty with her. Did we mention Nina also blames Carly for killing her daughter?

General Hospital spoilers – What Happens Next On The ABC Sudser?

Nina is Liesl’s niece and Liesl is the one responsible for the truth finally coming out. She put two and two together and Nina’s life outside Port Charles and spilled the beans. Those beans came out in court, and after months of Sonny lying by omission, his wife Carly found out that he and Nina fell in love. Oops.

The look on Carly’s face indicated that neither Nina nor Sonny should show their face in a dark alley she happens to be in anytime soon. Gati appears delighted to be playing such a meaty role, and we’re glad this means she is spending more time onscreen.
