General Hospital spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) lived in a fantasy world in Nixon Falls. Now that Nina’s preliminary hearing is underway, the truth about Nina and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) relationship is about to come out. Watros spoke about Nina being in a healthier place now and how Sonny helped the character face reality.
General Hospital Spoilers – Nixon Falls And Fantasy World
GH spoilers reveal that while Nina and Sonny were in Nixon Falls, neither of them were living in reality. Sonny didn’t have a choice due to his amnesia. However, Nina had a choice and she decided to drag Sonny into her fantasy world. Even though Nina now regrets keeping Sonny’s identity a secret from him and causing everyone so much pain, the damage has been done. Unfortunately, there will continue to be more fallout as more secrets come out during Nina’s preliminary hearing.

Once Sonny remembered his identity, his attitude toward Nina did a complete 180. It was painful for Nina and at the time, she was willing to do anything to keep her fantasy going. However, Watros explained to Soap Opera Digest that Sonny being so cold and unfeeling toward Nina was the best thing he could do for her.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sonny being so cold toward Nina helped get her head out of the clouds and face reality. The actress hinted that in hindsight, Nina is grateful for it because it forced her to get back into the real world.
“I think going back to Port Charles, she comes out of the clouds, and Sonny, by him being so unfeeling toward her, that is bringing her back to reality. She doesn’t necessarily want to be there, because it hurts, but I think that it’s healthier for her to be in that place.”

So sick of nina and sonny
Nina has been in every episode for th past 3 weeks do far. Geez, give us a break from her!
I quit watching GH
Im about to quit watching. Im sick of the writers plots of almost every character having no moral compass, cheating etc. I understand having to keep up an interest but enough is enough. What's wrong with a little happiness in these fictional lives for a while.
I want it to come out that Nina called to tell Carly where Sonny was and she was a jerk and wouldn't stop demeaning Nina. I want that out in the opening!!!! Nina could have gotten Sonny right back!!!
I only wish that Sonny was cold to Nina. He bought Charlies Bar for Phyllis so that he could have a safe place to be with Nina. He is still deceiving Carly even after the truth came out. He needs to completely stay away from Nina, find her a job out of town, and be loyal to Carly. I wish the writers would bring a good looking nice guy to GH for Carly. It is about time that she had a storyline with romance. The powers that be said they would never break up Carly & Sonny again, but they were wrong. If they get back together, are we going to have togo through another marriage ceremony?
The writers let Nina off the hook but made Sonny look weak like the Mike character in Nixon Falls. He is certainly not the Sonny we knew. I understand he’s also facing feelings for Carly and Nina. I don’t like this story, never did and realize we have to have drama and conflict in a soap. Maybe it could reach whichever conclusion the writers want soon. Please don’t hate, everyone has a right to their opinion.
I don't feel Sonny brought Charlie's to have a place to be with Nina. He was grateful to Phyllis for she and her husbands graciousness and friendship to him when he had amnesia and after Phyllis loosing Lenny and the Tan-O he wanted to assist her in starting a new life.
I too feel that Carly should know that Nina did attempt to let her know Sonny was alive, but she ruined the conversation as far as Nina was concerned by demeaning her. She got mad due to Carly's actions and took it upon herself to keep the secret that Sonny was alive. But, that would have been too easy and viewers wouldn't have had to spend nine plus months in Nixon Falls.
If nina and sonny ends up together, I will be done with GH

Sick of Nina and Sonny! Sonny needs to get his SH__ together. Blast Nina once and for all, for keeping him from his life (get MAD). Get on to trying to win his life back! Please get on with it, so many better story lines than Nina and Sonny

If Nina is so happy for Sonny appearing cold toward, her why is she still pinning for a relationship with Mike?? If Sonny had presented advances toward her on New Years she would have fallenl into his arms like someone falling from a roof for dear life.
I don't call the Nina/Sonny situation drama – just a waste of viewing time, but that is my opinion.
