And the General Hospital star showed her true beauty by going without makeup in the pictures. But Laura didn’t just skip the cosmetics. As she wrote in her caption, she also let her curly hair fly free.

“So I have some amazing pictures from a photo shoot I did recently,” explained Wright in the introduction to the photos. “However, when choosing some pictures to post to thank everyone for the birthday wishes I received, and to honor my 52 years, these no make up, curly hair ones won out !!!” And Laura also reflected on what she wishes for herself at 52. 

“When I think about what I want at 52,” contemplated the General Hospital star. “Who do I want to be? How do I want to show up? The word Authentic kept coming up.”

However, fans who love the General Hospital star’s glamorous photos on Instagram can look forward to those as well. Because as Laura promised, “Yes, I’ll still post glamorous shots.
