General Hospital star Brooklyn Rae Silzer and Emma may have been off the canvas for a while, but that doesn’t mean fans don’t miss the young actress who started coming into our living rooms 10 years ago.

Silzer, who is now a teenager in high school, took to Twitter on Monday to mark this momentous occasion. “10 years ago my life changed forever being cast as Emma Scorpio Drake. Thank you all for being supportive of me over the years. I am forever grateful to be part of the General Hospital family.”

TV mom Kimberly McCullough, who was just seen as Robin at the end of May when she returned to Sean Donely’s funeral, chimed in with her own tweet. “I’m so grateful for you, my beautiful, sweet TV daughter.”

General Hospital News – A Real-Life Robin-Emma Connection

When Silzer first appeared on GH as a six-year-old little girl, McCullough was off the show and Robin was presumed dead. The moment when Robin returned to Port Charles alive just in time for Patrick and Sabrina’s wedding was an iconic one, with tiny Emma spotting her mom first.

That was the first time Silzer and McCullough ever worked together, but it wasn’t their first connection. It turned out McCullough was friends with Silzer’s mom when they were growing up, which added to their special relationship on-screen.

General Hospital News – Where Are Robin Scorpio And Emma Scorpio-Drake  Now?

Both McCullough and Silzer stopped appearing regularly at General Hospital at the end of 2015 when Robin and Patrick remarried and moved to San Francisco. Robin has since had a son and both performers have returned here and there over the last five-and-a-half years. Emma has even visited PC without her mother to visit Anna, her grandmother.

It’s always possible to bring Silzer back to the soap by having Emma move back to Port Charles to finish high school. She would fit right in with the PC teens even if she is slightly younger. It looks like the soap also plans to bring Spencer back in some form and he did once have a crush on Emma, so anything can happen now that both characters are teens.
