General Hospital News: Former Port Charles Resident And Disney Star Cameron Boyce’s Shocking Death

General Hospital spoilers has some sad news to report; Cameron Boyce, who played Stone Cates Jr. on the General Hospital spin-off “Night Shift” has died at the tender age of only 20. Although he was only 20, he appeared in many television shows and movies, many of them on the Disney Channel.
According to the statement released by his family, Cameron suffered from an ongoing medical condition which caused seizures, and died in his sleep after having suffered one. TMZ reported EMTs were unable to revive him although they were called right away.
Cameron was born on May 28, 1999 in Los Angeles and at the time of his death he was filming a new show for HBO called “Mrs. Fletcher”. Another TV series is in the post-production phase called “Paradise City” and also a movie called “Runt”.
Cameron was well known for the Disney shows he played in, including “The Descendants”, his breakout role being that of Luke in “Jessie” which ran for four seasons, and also played one of actor Adam Sandler’s children in “Grown Ups” and “Grown Ups II”.
His family released a statement, saying “He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. His co-stars Adam Sandler and Antonio Sabato, Jr, who played Jagger Cates on General Hospital and GH Night Shift also tweeted condolences, Adam tweeting “Thank you, Cameron, for all you gave us. So much more was on the way. All our hearts are broken. Thinking of your amazing family and sending our deepest condolences.”
Antonio tweeted “Rest in peace Cameron Boyce, it was an honor to have worked with you and spend our time together. Man my heart is broken, what an amazing kid with an amazing future. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. We will all miss you.”
