General Hospital News: Jonathan Jackson Puts His Safety First Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

With the Covid-19 virus running rapidly through the United States at present, GH alum, Jonathan Jackson has decided to take the proactive approach. Unfortunately, this virus is changing everyone’s entertainment habits and will for the foreseeable future. Jonathan, who played Lucky Spencer on General Hospital, left the show years ago to concentrate on his musical career. Fans were looking forward to his upcoming concert series but Jonathan has chosen to postpone them for now.

Bar And Restaurants In Most States Are Closed To Gatherings

The former General Hospital star was slated to perform at City Winery in Nashville, TN, and Atlanta, GA. City Winer, of course, is a club/restaurant and there are restrictions in some states on eat-in facilities. Not wanting to put his fans in danger of contacting the Coronavirus, Jackson believed it would be better to air on the side of caution and reschedule his events to not only protect himself and his band but his fans as well.

Jackson promised to keep in contact with fans online and let everyone know when the concerts, originally scheduled for April 8th and April 10th are rescheduled. He also took the time to send love to all his fans. Jackson band is, of course, known as Jonathan Jackson and Enation formerly know as Enation before 2014.

Jackson and his band members, Richard Lee Jackson and Jonathan Thatcher, may not be able to make appearances in person at this time but their music is always accessible on their website, JonathanJackson.com where fans can access not only their older music but newer recordings as well. Fans of the band can download music from this site and keep up with other news about the band and their rescheduled appearances here.

Jonathan Is Still Missed On General Hospital

General Hospital fans watched Jonathan grow up on General Hospital as he played daredevil Luke Spencer’s (Tony Geary) and Laura Webber Spencer’s (Genie Frances) son. Jonathan played Lucky from 1993-1999, 2009-2011, and again in his last appearance in 2015. Lucky breezed into town and returned Jake Spencer (Hudson West) home to his mother years after believing he had been killed by his grandfather Luke Spencer. After handing Jake over to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Lucky left town and parents through Skype. Loyal fans still long for Lucky to return but with that doesn’t seem likely at this time.

Jackson fans are loyal and will be eagerly awaiting his rescheduled concerts later in the year. Everyone wishes Jonathan and Enation good health as fans eagerly await for their entertainment lives to return to normal.
