Maurice Benard and Laura Wright, who play Sonny Corinthos and Carly Corinthos, respectively, on “General Hospital,” dropped by at the set of The Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family. During their visit, the pair opened up about their years together on the sudser. Benard also shared a few things about his upcoming book called “Nothing General About It.”

Benard has bipolar disorder in real life, He opened up about his personal struggles and how it affected his career. The actor’s book details his experience at “General Hospital.” He also shares secrets, bits and pieces about his co-stars including Laura Wright, who’s been his leading lady on the soap for several years.

General Hospital Spoilers  – For March 5

“General Hospital” spoilers for March 5 tease that Brook Kerr will make her debut on the soap as Dr. Portia Robinson. She’ll be involved in a heated confrontation with Ava Jerome (Maura West).

She’ll call on Ava for overstepping when it comes to her daughter, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). Viewers may recall that the latter recently lost her father, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) and she wants to bury herself in her work at the gallery so she won’t have to deal with her grief. Portia wants to be there for her daughter at this time of her life and she’ll want Ava to know that she’s Trina’s mother and not her.

Elsewhere, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) is nowhere to be found after leaving in a hurry following Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Haley Pullos) rejection of his marriage proposal. But the latter becomes concerned when she can’t get a hold of TJ.

TJ may have wanted to be alone at first after getting rejected but his extended absence may be brought on by something more sinister. There’s a chance that he’s been kidnapped by Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) goons, something that Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will find out soon. But for the meantime, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will try to get to the bottom of things.
