General Hospital Spoilers – Ryan Paevey Played Nathan West On GH
General Hospital watchers will recall Ryan with fondness from when he played Nathan West, Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) heroic husband. His birth mother Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) kept the secret of his parentage for years to protect him from his birth father Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Nathan, whose real name was James Reeves because Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) raised him as Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) brother, died in the offices of Crimson Magazine as Faison shot him!
Viewers will recall that Maxie was working for Nina at the time and witnessed the murder in one of the saddest scenes since the death of BJ Jones (Brighton Hereford). She was Maxie’s cousin whose heart Maxie received as a toddler.

After that came “Harvest Love”, “From Friend To Fiancé” and others including “A Timeless Christmas”, “Christmas At The Plaza”, “A Summer’s Romance” and, ironically,“A Little Daytime Drama.”
