As a matter of fact, many longtime viewers have taken to their social media accounts to express just how much they love seeing the Passions alum in her new role as Sam McCall in Port Charles. Lindsay has temporarily replaced actress Kelly Monaco for the time being. Here’s what you need to know.

According to previous reports, Kelly has decided to take a break from filming after it was reported that she was having difficulty with the new Covid-19 and social distancing regulations that have been put in place in order to ensure that the entire cast and crew stay safe from the virus. Kelly’s mother Carmina went on the record to say that her daughter wasn’t feeling right with having to keep a mask on her all day while working behind the scenes on the set of the show and that’s why she’s taking a short break.

Of course, after seeing Lindsay’s first episode on General Hospital, it didn’t take very long for fans, critics, and viewers to respond. Believe it or not, the reaction has mostly been very positive as fans are overwhelmingly loving all of the new energy that Lindsay Hartley is bringing to the character.
