General Hospital preview for Wednesday, November 4, teases that Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) is angry, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) offers some guidance.
Plus, at the WSB holding site near Port Charles, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has an explosive reaction!
Key Takeaways
- Tristan angrily refuses to let Willow control him
- Carly urges Joe to follow the evidence in Brennan’s death
- Drew pressures Ava as their deadly secret threatens to unravel
- Nina remains furious over her treatment by the WSB
- Baines could reveal important information about Brennan’s death
Tristan’s Anger
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) seems to be flexing her influence at General Hospital, which has Tristan quite angry!
He glares at the Congresswoman and asserts that she cannot compel him to do anything!
Is she possibly trying to uncover details about Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) death investigation that are completely outside her jurisdiction?
Or is she even aware of it, given that no information has been disclosed by the police department, aside from perhaps transferring the body to the morgue?
Tristan makes it abundantly clear to Willow that he is not anyone’s pawn, especially not a politician trying to exert her authority!
As previously reported, Tristan’s medical expertise could play a crucial role in the Brennan investigation.
Carly’s Guidance
Meanwhile, Carly is still undergoing questioning at the PCPD, where she provides Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) with some guidance.
She advises him to begin again and to let the evidence lead him to the actual killer.
Although there is a significant amount of circumstantial evidence, there is no solid proof that either she or Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was involved in Brennan’s death.
With the toxicology report still pending, the reason for his drowning is uncertain. No one has indicated whether he knew how to swim!
This only suggests that he might have been impaired enough to fall into the pool, and with no blunt force trauma present, it indicates he didn’t strike his head!
Drew Pressures Ava, But He’s Nowhere Out Of The Clear Yet Either!
In another scene, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) appears to be feeling the pressure, but he is ready, willing, and able to betray Ava Jerome (Maura West), despite her numerous warnings.
She has consistently warned him that if she faces consequences for Brennan’s death, he will too.
Naturally, she has secured legal representation while leaving Drew uninformed!
It’s clear that when Drew speaks to Ava, he is alluding to Nina, saying, “You better hope she stays exactly where she is!”
Nina is currently the most likely suspect for the WSB, but they are unaware that WSB Station Chief William Baines (Alimi Ballard) has already informed her that they jumped to conclusions, and she is no longer at Steinmauer.
Drew seems to be far more concerned about Ava than his own potential downfall!
As Ava’s deadly secrets continue to threaten her future, Drew could find himself in just as much trouble.
Nina’s Explosive Reaction
Currently, Nina finds herself in the WSB holding area near Port Charles with Baines, and she is far from pleased!
In a fit of anger, she yells at him, “You need to leave this place and take that garbage with you!” as she clears the table of the food and drinks that were brought to her!
Fans of General Hospital will recall that during her last encounter with Baines, she was desperately trying to prove her innocence.
It was Drew who set her up, placing Brennan’s wallet in her car after breaking in.
Now, the question remains: Will Baines inform her that Brennan’s body has been discovered, or is the PCPD keeping crucial information from the WSB?
That could potentially lead to a mistrial right there!
Meanwhile, Nina may be forced to make a difficult deal with the WSB if she hopes to protect herself and Willow.
Annemarie’s Take
I don’t blame Nina for losing her temper! She’s been framed, locked up, and kept away from her family while Drew and Ava continue covering their tracks. I hope Carly can finally point the police in the right direction. Wouldn’t it be something if Drew’s own scheme brought him down?
