‘General Hospital’ Preview Video May 23: Michael’s Explosive Return, Gio’s Adoption Exposure Aftermath

General Hospital spoilers reveal a preview clip has been released for Friday, May 23, 2025. It shows Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) coming back to Port Charles with a new face.

Gio Palmieri’s Aftermath

Fans know that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) didn’t intend for Gio to overhear her conversation with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer). Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) warned Lulu to step away as this was not her story to tell.

Lulu ignored that and decided to keep pushing anyway. Now Gio has found out in a very unkind way and the results are catastrophic.

Gio smashed his violin after declaring Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) gave him away.

Lucy Coe’s Aftermath

There will be an aftermath. While Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will want to push for the performances to continue, it seems not everyone is on board.

In a preview clip, Lucy asks why Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) aren’t in their costumes.

The girls just stare at her like she grew another head. I wouldn’t want to joyfully perform after a catastrophe like Gio’s reaction, either.

In fact, everyone is freaking out over what just happened with Gio. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) looks distraught.

Plus, Lulu is panicking as she should. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) warns Lulu to get off the track before she gets leveled.

Jason Morgan’s Mystery

General Hospital spoilers for today’s episode reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) gets a mysterious phone call. In a preview clip, Jason immediately asks what they want him to do.

So, this is someone Jason knows and trusts. I’m guessing it’s Michael since the recast is set to debut today. So, that will be an exciting scene to watch!

The man is wearing a tuxedo and it looks like it could be Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). When Willow confesses her wish, the tuxedo man hangs his head down, as if he’s disappointed.

Also, Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will get a surprise visitor while watching the Nurses Ball. Meanwhile, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) feels relieved. Over at the police station, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) demands to be released.
