'General Hospital' Recap July 17: Liesl Meets Rocco & Jason Takes Sasha To Robert ScorpioGeneral Hospital recap for Thursday, July 17 reveal Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) spies at the pool, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has suspicions.

Also, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) takes Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Daisy Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford) to Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) house.

Josslyn Spies At The Pool

Joss arrives at the pool and talks to Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn); when she sees Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard), she mentions she’s there to work.

She rushes to the professor with a towel; he notes that she’s early and he wants to swim first. As he enters the water, he locks eyes with a woman (Greta, played by Carolyne Maraghi), who is looking at the bag he left by the pool. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Joss sends a text to Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) to inform him that something is going on. She calls Danny over and tells him that the woman is a good tipper, so he should pay her extra attention.

Josslyn Plants A Tracking Device On Greta’s Bag

When she approaches the bag, Danny becomes concerned for her, as across towards the pool fence, Dalton and Josslyn review his emails.

He mentions he has a meeting to attend and walks away-Josslyn seizes the chance to do her spy work. Joss approaches the bag with a tracking device, drops something, and bends down to inspect it, having achieved her goal as Dalton comes back.

They share an awkward moment before he departs, and he seems a little suspicious. Joss observes as the woman picks up the bag while leaving, and Dalton remains in the shadows, watching Joss.

Anna Has Suspicions

In her office, Anna informs Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) that she believes Vaughn is connected to a WSB operation. Felicia is not surprised and points out that they are not required to disclose that information to her.

Anna is convinced that the WSB is monitoring Dalton, but she doesn’t understand the reason behind it-she’s uncertain whether Vaughn is working for or against them—his cover is too flawless.

Anna says it’s clear to her that this is a case of surveillance, and er friend suggests that if Anna is correct, she should let it go.

Felicia thinks this is due to Anna’s pride since Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) forced her out of the WSB; Anna is worried about keeping Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) safe.

Sasha And Jason Have A Good Long Talk On The Plane

On a plane, Sasha expresses her gratitude to Jason for helping her leave the country and for believing her when she mentioned that someone was after her baby.

She is concerned about how upset Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) must be, and Jason reassures her that he believes it was the right choice.

He updates her on the recent incidents involving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and discuss Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and her resilience.

Jason feels fortunate that his son can spend so much time with her; Sasha recalls how Danny was always kind to her and good with Daisy (Brenden & Evelyn Beimford). She thinks it must be difficult for Jason to live with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).

Jason Takes Sasha And Daisy To Her Dad’s House

He mentions that she isn’t entirely bad, and Sasha confesses she might miss her a bit as Jason acknowledges that Tracy is correct about some of his decisions.

He understands he must prioritize his son’s safety; Sasha informs him that his son is concerned he may be unhappy and wishes to see him with someone.

Sasha points out that he always prioritizes others over himself, does he ever consider what he desires; he responds that he has everything he needs.

She questions if he ever feels lonely, and he believes he shouldn’t be dating given the current situation; Sasha’s confident there is a woman out there who can move beyond Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Sasha insists he deserves better and hopes he finds it-once they arrive, they visit Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and introduce him to Daisy.

Sonny Confronts Nina

Sonny arrives at the Crimson office and questions Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about why she deceived the press regarding him; she clarifies that Tracy is blackmailing her.

She admits she despised every word she spoke but felt it was necessary to safeguard her family. He understands how spiteful and vengeful Tracy can be and agrees she was right to defend her daughter-Nina warns there will be a follow-up interview focusing on his questionable mental health.

She attempted to steer the discussion away, but the reporter insisted on that topic-he anticipated this would happen eventually and reassures her it’s not her fault.

Nina cautions that this time Tracy believes she has every right to act as she does because of Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and the potential danger he poses to him.

Sonny And Nina Continue To Talk

Sonny is confident in his judgment of the situation; he has previously cautioned Gio to maintain his distance for his own safety.

While he recognizes Tracy’s worries, he feels they are being influenced by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). He refuses to allow any of this to impede him.

She points out that Port Charles is lucky to have him, and they talk about the wedding she is hesitant to plan. They exchange views on their grandchildren, and he notes that results don’t always turn out as anticipated-Nina encourages him to take care of himself.

Dante And Lulu Clash

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) meets Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) at the Haven Bistro; she has a request-he states he won’t get involved with his father.

She is concerned about how confused Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) must feel due to all the negative attention Sonny is receiving; Dante believes their son will be okay.

Lulu holds Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) responsible for this situation. He thinks she merely left the file out unintentionally-“Yeah right,” Lulu retorts.

He reminds her that the records were accessible to the public and Rocco could have discovered them anytime, saying he should have informed their son about this long ago. Lulu insists he did nothing wrong, and he reiterates that this was an accident; she refuses to accept that.

Dante And Lulu Continue To Bicker, Then She Heads For The Pool And He To The PCPD

He can’t prevent her from being upset, but he doesn’t want to cling to his own anger. She claims he is just making excuses and pushes him to get Gio to direct his anger at Brook Lynn; he insists that she deserves some kindness. Lulu can’t grasp why he won’t betray Brook Lynn to get closer to Gio-he believes it wouldn’t help them become a family.

Dante mentions that they are both part of his family-Lulu is unwilling to compromise and walks away; then Lulu and Sonny meet at the pool to discuss the negative media coverage.

She encourages him to sell the piers, he says he’s handling the situation and will find a solution; Dante heads to the PCPD where Anna has a favor to ask him.

Liesl Meets With Rocco

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) meets Rocco at the café; he’s surprised by her quick arrival. She anticipated that the truth would eventually surface and wanted to meet him face to face and respects his desire to learn more than just one side of the story.

Naturally, he would be interested in hearing about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud); “My daughter was a mess,” she confesses-although she was brilliant, her social skills were lacking.

Rocco has heard that she wasn’t the most pleasant person-Obrecht is realistic about her past-she acknowledges her flaws but also her strength, refusing to be hindered by trivial social conventions. Some narrow-minded individuals viewed her as selfish; Rocco thinks Britt underestimated herself-Jason mentioned that.

Rocco And Liesl Continue To Talk, Then Liesl Goes To See Nina

“For someone with brain damage, Jason is quite insightful,” she remarks; they discuss the anger his parents feel towards Britt.

Obrecht reassures him that Britt cared for him deeply, and she appreciated him because he rarely cried and was very inquisitive.

She confesses that she has missed her daughter a lot and finds it comforting to talk about her; she also expresses interest in him.

When she notices him checking his phone, she decides it’s time to leave, and he inquires how long she will stay-she comes and goes as she pleases; he wants to meet again.

Afterward, Obrecht visits Nina, who is excited by the unexpected visit; Liesl presumes her life is chaotic and questions how much family mess she needs to clean up.
