Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was to arrive with the adoption paperwork for the baby.

When Alexis finally arrived at the house, Ned, Lois, and Gio gathered in the foyer with the baby, where Gio shared the exciting news about his record deal.

After the paperwork was officially signed, Brook Lynn and Chase proudly introduced Phoebe Jacqueline to Ned, Lois, and Gio.

A Letter From “Dad”

General Hospital recaps confirm that Alexis presented a letter about Delilah, written by Phoebe’s father for her to read when she grew older.

She instructed Brook Lynn and Chase to present the paperwork to the judge at the courthouse to complete the adoption process.

Given that the adoption was closed and Phoebe would never know her biological father, Brook Lynn pleaded with Alexis to reach out to them immediately if he ever made contact.

Believing the father to be Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard), Alexis reassured the new parents that she didn’t anticipate that happening.

Hudson Made Threats

Hudson tracked Ethan down to a hotel in Oslo, Norway, demanding to know the truth about Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone).

Ethan, however, informed his old friend that Delilah had died, but he deceived him by saying that the baby had also died.

Blaming Ethan for Delilah’s demise, Hudson accused him of being a thief who had stolen from the wrong person while he assaulted Ethan.

Before departing, Hudson issued a threat, stating that he would target Ethan’s mother and sisters.

Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) would be in danger if he ever found out that Ethan had been dishonest.

Willow Cain’s Insane Plan

At the Metro Court Garden, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and Aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) raised their glasses to celebrate Willow’s divorce.

During the toast, Liesl voiced her doubts about the timing of the event. Willow explained that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) congressional seat was not eligible to be returned to him.

This meant she would hold her position until the next election. She also mentioned her intention to pressure Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) into reopening the investigation into Drew’s shooting.

She had the hope that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) would be found guilty. It was her hope for her to gain full custody of Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Sienna Goerisch) as a result.

Nina attempted to convince Willow that this was a terrible plan, while Liesl accused her of using her political influence for selfish reasons, similar to Drew.

Upset, Willow retorted that her actions were for the sake of her children and that she needed to act before Michael made a move against her.

Liesl cautioned Willow to keep her mother out of her schemes. She then reminded her that Nina had already endured enough.

Ava Jerome’s Offer

Ava Jerome (Maura West) took Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) out for breakfast to celebrate her college graduation and offered her a partnership at the gallery.

However, Trina declined due to her record contract. Excited for Trina’s new journey, Ava agreed to a flexible schedule and mentioned the partnership offer was still open if Trina changed her mind.

Trina inquired about Ethan, and a frustrated Ava remarked that she had avoided a problem.

Ethan Lovett’s SOS

General Hospital recaps for August 4 state that Ava received a call from an unknown number; it was Ethan, who made her promise to keep his connection to the baby a secret.

In the hallway, Hudson overheard everything through a bug he had placed in Ethan’s hotel room.

Meanwhile, Nina called Jack from the ladies’ room to express her frustration about Willow’s plan to have the PCPD reopen Drew’s shooting case.

Unbeknownst to Nina, Trina was also in the restroom and heard her conversation. Trina got an earful!

Carly Spencer’s Plan Backfired

Carly had her adult kids over for breakfast and pressured Josslyn into revealing to Michael that she’d joined the WSB.

However, her plan backfired when Michael fully supported Josslyn’s choice instead of trying to dissuade her.

When he found out that Josslyn had nearly died while undercover, he was upset with himself for being too absorbed in his own issues to protect her.

Michael then updated the women about Willow, mentioning that his ex-wife was seeking 50/50 custody now that she was divorcing Drew.

Although he managed to delay her for now, Michael worried that Willow’s political influence might give her the advantage in court, leading to a loss for him.

Drew Cain’s Olive Branch

Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) arranged a meeting between Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Drew, who sought to reconcile with his old friend.

During their conversation, Drew disclosed that the prosecution had requested his testimony in court, but he intended to assist Curtis’s case by stating that Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) had misinterpreted his statement.

Drew asserted that he would testify that Willow could not have been the other driver in the accident since she was at home that night.

Curtis, however, remained skeptical, believing that Drew had an ulterior motive. Drew insisted he was not seeking anything in return.

Drew’s Explanation

Drew explained that during his illness, he was powerless to prevent Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) from visiting Alexis, who despised him.

He didn’t want Curtis to find himself in a similar situation where he might lose Desmond Ashford (Yireh Aviah Lafond) if he ended up in prison.

After Drew departed, Curtis and Martin got ready to head to the courthouse. Martin expressed his belief in Drew’s sincerity.

He noted that if Drew testified that Willow wasn’t driving the other vehicle, it would simplify their efforts to persuade the jury that Isaiah had been the other driver.
